Given our significant opioid crisis, the Erie County Medical Society is partnering with the Erie County Department of Health and local health plans to roll out Screening, Brief intervention and Referral to treatment (SBIRT). SBIRT is a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services for persons with substance use disorders. SBIRT is a billable service.
The Erie County Medical Society invites all physicians (non-members and members) and their practice administrators to attend this important informational dinner session on SBIRT to learn how your office can help with our opioid epidemic.
